Woven to Speak
Naeth is not one story but many. Founded in Kerala by Vishnu Girija Gopal and Jithu GS, engineers and moreover artists, we are a collective of makers and thinkers who see textiles as more than clothing. We explore how every thread holds memory, every weave carries meaning, and every garment has the power to speak, turning fabric into a living expression of culture.
At our core, we pursue technical textile experimentation, crafting garments that adapt to an evolving world. By weaving Kerala’s handwoven heritage with speculative futures, we challenge conventional narratives and transcend mere fabric-making.
Each garment is a sensory artifact, fusing cultural memory with design intention. More than fabric shaped into form, it is a vessel of ritual, function, and expression, crafted to be felt, questioned, and remembered. Naeth weaves a living archive of past, present, and future, sparking dialogue through every piece.
We are a community, honoring artisans who preserve skill, artists who push boundaries, and dreamers who imagine possibilities. Together, we shape textiles that embody identity and solution, heritage and horizon.
We are Naeth.
